Fixed carbon dioxide gas detector measures CO2 leak concentration in open environment. Normally is fixed on the wall to monitor co2 gas leak in real-time. The fixed co2 detector adapts high-quality co2 sensor.in normal air co2 keeps around 0.08%vol,when gas leakage or in case of poor air quality the data reading get higher, until 0.2% or even 0.5%vol the co2 detector will make alarms to remind people to take measurements or leave away immediately.
The CO2 sensor adopts the NDIR infrared absorption detection principle, and the microprocessor performs signal acquisition, processing and output, realizes ambient temperature compensation, corrects the nonlinear relationship in principle, and has the unique characteristics of NDIR products, such as good selectivity, high sensitivity, no oxygen dependence, and long life.Digital co2 sensors already have processing electronics integrated, possibly with automatic calibration capabilities

4.About CO2 Gas Safe Standard.
For carbon dioxide detector detection range 0-5%vol:
Safety range: According to international standards (such as OSHA), the CO₂ concentration in workplaces must be lower than 0.5%vol (5000ppm), and the short-term exposure limit should ＜1%vol.
Low alarm point: 0.5%vol (warning ventilation or checking the source of leakage).
High alarm point: 1%vol (immediate evacuation and initiation of emergency measures).
Danger point: 3%vol or more can cause shortness of breath and confusion.
5.Maintenance
Regularly calibrate the carbon dioxide gas detector once a year in order to monitor correctly CO2 concentration in air; Clean the dirt on the sensor of the CO2 detector.
