1. Catalytic combustion type
It is mainly used for combustible gas detection

When the environment is containing silicon, chlorine, sulphur compounds, sensor poisoning may happen
Can only be used for gas blast tests, high or low concentration may cause gas sensor damage or sensitivity reduced
2. Electrochemical type
Chemical energy transfer into electrical energy, the electrical signal is proportional to the concentration
It is mainly used for poisonous and harmful gas detection
3. Semiconductor type
Under a certain temperature, electrical conductivity changes with environment changes.
Can be used for combustible gas, toxic or harmful gases detection
4. Heat conduction type
According to the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the mixed gas of total gas content to be analysed different and change.
Can be used for the vast majority of gas detection, such as combustible gas, toxic gas, inert gas, etc
5. Infrared type
Mainly for the combustible gas and carbon dioxide detection
Anaerobic environment or combustible gas detection in inert gas environment
