Where is the combustible alarm devices installed?
With the rapid development of coal chemical industry and chlor-alkali chemical industry in China, the types and application range of toxic, harmful, inflammable and explosive gases are constantly expanding. The combustible gas alarm installed in the workplace is an important equipment to ensure the gas concentration detection in the chemical site and plays a vital role in production safety. Combustible gas alarm belongs to the national compulsory verification measuring instrument, can detect the toxic, harmful, flammable and explosive gas concentration in the environment, and has the alarm function.
When the gas concentration reaches the explosion or poisoning critical point set by the alarm, the combustible gas alarm will immediately alarm, remind the staff to take safety measures, and drive the exhaust air, cut off, sprinkler system, to prevent the occurrence of explosion, fire, poisoning accident. Still have a group to want to pay attention to, the gas sensor of day fuel gas alarm clock is under normal use circumstance, its sensitivity drops naturally every year 10% ~ 30%, because this can combustible gas alarm needs every year time undertakes checking, assure its performance and quantity accurate and reliable.
The fixed gas alarm for industrial use is composed of an alarm controller and a detector. The controller can be placed in the duty room to control the monitoring points. The detector is installed in the place where combustible gas is most likely to leak out. Probe will sensors detect the gas concentration into electrical signal, by wire transfer to the controller, the higher the gas concentration, the stronger the signal, when the gas concentration reach or exceed alarm controller Settings when the emergency alarm, alarm signal alarm, and can activate the electromagnetic valve, exhaust fan, such as communications equipment, automatic eliminate hidden dangers.
Where is the combustible alarm installed? This is the first thing most customers want to know after receiving the detectors. So we give the following written instructions.
First, probing the place that needs to install alarm, see where gas will leakage easily, look for the position point that is likely to leak, decide the position that needs to install alarm. For a large workshop with combustible gas, the regulations recommend a test point at a distance of 10m. Outdoor is every 15 meters to install an alarm, that is, the protection radius is 7. 5 meters.
Secondly, look at the around location of alarm installation to check whether the large electromagnetic interference equipment exist. Equipment with strong electromagnetic interference will affect the detection accuracy and sensitivity of the alarm to a certain extent, resulting in the deviation of the detection results. If interference cannot be avoided, a thicker shielded cable should be selected.
Thirdly, observe the wind direction of the environment in the measured position, and judge the location of the combustible gas after the leakage according to the air flow direction and flow inertia to determine the installation height of the combustible gas alarm. For gas media heavier than air, such as liquefied gas, toluene, xylene, alcohol and other gas media, the installation height shall be 30-60cm from the ground directly below the leakage source. For gas medium lighter than the specific gravity of air, such as hydrogen, methane, methane, ethylene and other gas media, the installation height shall be directly above the leakage source and 30-60cm away from the ceiling.
Finally, confirm whether the leakage source is a point leakage or a jet leakage. If it is a small amount of leakage will be installed near the alarm leakage source; If it's a jet leak, set the alarm away from the source.
Comprehensive consideration above 4 points, can confirm the installation position of combustible gas alarm. Then follow the instructions step by step operation, the alarm will be installed and connected to the line, and then the device on the power supply. After less than 30 seconds, the equipment will enter the normal monitoring state. If normal monitoring is not possible, please check whether the installation is correct.
