Natural gas and lpg gas is a flammable and explosive gas. It is an important clean energy source and has been widely used in many industries. Due to the flammability and explosiveness of natural gas, we must pay attention to natural gas leakage when using natural gas to prevent natural gas explosion accidents.
To prevent the occurrence of natural gas leakage and explosion accidents, we need to install natural gas detector or lpg detector to detect the concentration of gas in real time. Once the gas leakage reaches a certain concentration, the lpg detector will automatically sound and light alarm to remind the staff to take corresponding measures in time, so as to avoid major accidents.
As an important security facility, the alarm value of the gas alarm is generally divided into one level and two levels. Today we are mainly talking about why the natural gas alarm should be set up with two-level alarms? What are the benefits?
The first-level alarm device can start the solenoid valve or exhaust fan when the equipment alarms. The second-level alarm device can realize dual-tube monitoring, that is, when the lpg gas detector detects that the natural gas concentration exceeds the first-level alarm value, it indicates that there is a natural gas leak, but the natural gas leak is not much, so the exhaust fan can be started during the first-level alarm to reduce the natural gas concentration and ensure environmental safety.
When the gas concentration reaches the second-level alarm value, it means that a large amount of gas has leaked. At this time, using an exhaust fan to disperse it can no longer solve the problem, so the solenoid valve is started during the second-level alarm to directly cut off the gas pipeline. Afterwards, apply soapy water to the natural gas pipeline. The place where bubbles are generated is the natural gas leak point. After the leak is found, remedial measures can be taken.
The liquefied petroleum gas detector LPG detector is an instrument used to detect the concentration of liquefied petroleum gas in the environment. It is mainly used in the extraction of oil and natural gas and the process of oil refining. The main components of liquefied petroleum gas are propane and butane, and there are also small amounts of propylene and butene. The odorant ethyl mercaptan is also added during storage, so that the leakage of liquefied petroleum gas can be easily detected.
Liquefied petroleum gas is mainly used as a petrochemical raw material, for hydrocarbon cracking to produce ethylene or steam reforming to produce synthesis gas, and can be used as industrial, civilian and internal combustion engine fuel.
Liquefied petroleum gas is a flammable substance. When the content in the air reaches a certain concentration range, it will explode when exposed to open flames. Gaseous liquefied petroleum is about 1.5 times heavier than air. The explosion range of the gas-air mixture is 1.7%~9.7%.
